“Edelweiss ST” Radiation and Chemical Control Device

Used for continuous automatic monitoring of air as:

• an RCC subsystem as part of the OKSION (All-Russian Integrated Public Notification and Warning System) and SZIONT (Integrated Public Transport CCTV, Environmental Monitoring and Emergency PA System);
• autonomous means of radiation and chemical survey as part of mobile systems;
• detector in ventilation control systems to prevent the entry of hazardous chemicals and toxic agents into ventilated rooms.

Functionality:

• automatic detection, identification, and simultaneous control over exceeding threshold concentrations of up to 6 hazardous chemicals and toxic agents in the air of the working area;
• automatic detection of excess gamma background levels;
• automatic control of external actuators when signal thresholds are exceeded for hazardous chemicals and toxic agents and radiation background;
• indication of the concentrations of measured components on the display (optional);
• archiving measurement data and threshold exceeded in non-volatile memory;
• sound and light alarm when threshold concentration values of measured components are exceeded;
• transfer of information on measured parameters and archive data to a remote PC or to a local network.
